Our Origin

The Ingenieurbüro Szillat & Partner GbR with offices in Meissen and Dresden was founded in 1990. In 1996, the GbR was transformed into the Ingenieurbüro Szillat Tragwerksplanung GmbH, headquartered in Dresden.

In 2001, the office moved to Radebeul, and Mr. Uwe Szillat has served as the sole partner and managing director of the company since 2003. For 10 years, a gradual expansion of the business purpose to object and structure planning has been pursued. Since 2018 there is a permanent establishment in Wittenberge (Brandenburg, Prignitz)

Our Mission

The office is large enough for its assignments yet small enough for personal engagement with the work.
Our mission is to find meaningful solutions and pay attention to the things that ensure that the structure, as a whole, lasts over time.
With the reorganization of the office, we want to adapt even better to the needs of our customers, of course while working as a team!

Our Direction

For building projects where the focus is on functionality, where e.g. constructive interventions are required, the office has been taking responsibility for the planning of buildings and supporting structures for years.The new structure with the two pillars of object and structure planning takes this development into account.

And we want to think even further about this holistic approach: combining sustainability, beauty and durability, quality of life and resource efficiency.
